HADAR

Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 27, 2026
Last updated: August 27, 2026

Hadar is published by Geist Labs LLC ("Team Hadar", "we", "us"). This policy explains what Hadar does with your information. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

The short version: Hadar has no account system, collects no analytics, and stores none of your Delta documents. Most of what Hadar knows about you never leaves your phone at all.

1. We do not have an account for you

Hadar has no sign-up, no login, no password, and no email address on file. We do not know your name, your employee number, your base, or your seniority. There is no user record anywhere on our systems to look you up in, because we never made one.

The one time we could learn your email address is if you type it into the Contact us form yourself, because you want an answer. That message becomes an ordinary email to us and is not stored on our server or added to any record. See section 7.

This is deliberate. If we do not store it, we cannot lose it, sell it, or be compelled to hand it over.

2. What never leaves your phone

The following is created and kept only in Hadar's storage on your device. It is not uploaded, backed up to us, or visible to us in any form:

If you uninstall Hadar, this data is deleted with it. Android's own automatic backup may include some of it in your personal Google account backup — that is a transfer between you and Google, and we are not part of it.

3. Delta documents are read and thrown away

When you paste or upload a timecard, Pay Activity Statement, rotation, or bid package, Hadar sends that text to our server to be interpreted, because the pay rules that read it are too large and change too often to live inside the app.

That text is:

We keep the answer for no one. The next time you open Hadar, the results you see are the ones stored on your own phone, not fetched back from us.

4. Location — only if you turn it on, and never to us

Hadar can show you the current driving time from where you are to the airport. It shows that time as a plain fact and nothing more — it does not tell you when to leave, and it does not know your sign-in time. Turning a drive time into a departure decision is yours.

You can revoke location access at any time in Android's settings, or turn the feature off inside Hadar, and the card simply stops offering a drive time.

5. Calendar — only if you turn it on, and never to us

If you switch on schedule sync, Hadar writes your trips into a calendar on your device. That happens entirely between Hadar and your phone's calendar. Our server is never involved and never sees your schedule. Sharing a trip as a calendar file sends it wherever you choose to send it, using your own apps.

6. When Hadar cannot read something

Delta changes its documents without telling anyone. When Hadar meets something it does not recognise, it can tell us so the parser can be fixed for everyone. What gets sent depends on the case:

Every report also includes your app version, your phone's model, and its Android version, so we can tell whether a problem is specific to one build or one device. Reports reach our own server and a push-alert service that notifies us; they are used only to fix parsing, never to build a profile of you.

7. When you write to us

Settings has a Contact us form. It sends only what you type into it. Nothing is attached from your timecards, your schedule, your logbook or anything else on your phone, and the form does not accept screenshots or files of any kind — deliberately, because a screenshot of a timecard is the document itself.

Please do not put anything in the message you would not want to send by ordinary email — it is ordinary email once it leaves us.

8. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking

Hadar contains no analytics library, no crash-reporting service, no advertising network, and no third-party tracking of any kind. There is no advertising ID, no device fingerprint, and no usage telemetry. Nobody is measuring which screens you open or how long you stay.

9. Other services Hadar talks to

To draw weather and maps, Hadar (or our server on its behalf) requests public imagery and data from public sources including the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, NASA, the U.S. National Weather Service, Iowa State University's Mesonet, EUMETSAT, the Japan Meteorological Agency, and OpenFreeMap/OpenStreetMap for map tiles. These are requests for public pictures and public weather data. Nothing about you is attached to them.

Hadar also checks our server for app updates and downloads them when you accept.

10. Where our server is, and what it logs

Our server is hosted in Germany. We do not log IP addresses and we do not keep request logs that would tie activity back to a device or a person. Traffic is encrypted in transit.

11. Payment

Subscriptions are handled by Google Play. We never see your card, your billing address, or your Google account. Google tells us only whether a subscription is valid. Google's handling of your payment information is governed by Google's own privacy policy.

12. Your rights, and how little there is to exercise them on

Because we hold no account and store no documents, there is generally nothing of yours for us to show you, correct, or delete on request.

13. Children

Hadar is a professional tool for airline pilots and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

14. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects what leaves your phone, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect, not quietly edit this page. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version.
